How we started

CoverMD.com is a division of NJSave LLC, the parent company of many highly successful insurance related referral websites. NJSave LLC was formed in 2006 by Len Mosco, an independent insurance agent with over 30 years experience and Joe Gilhawley, a long-time website application developer. The inital objective was to create an online referral website for New Jersey consumers looking for quotes on personal insurance lines such as auto and homeowners insurance. Our first website www.NJSave.com went live in June 2006 and the concept was so successful that additional websites were added targeting various insurance products and\or states.

Our philosophy has always been to identify quality, progessive thinking insurance agencies and companies who can provide friendly, professional advice, competitive rates and excellent personal customer service to our online visitors. Once a quote request is submitted from any of our websites it is immediately routed to an insurance professional who can provide the necessary assistance. All our participating insurance agencies are local businesses based right here in the United States and not some anonymous overseas call center. In effect, we combine the best of both worlds, the latest Internet based technology and good old fashioned human interaction.

CoverMD.com - A Medical Malpractice Insurance Website

Medical malpractice insurance quote requests were originally available only to New Jersey based doctors through www.NJSave.com. However the response from physicians in the Garden State seeking more competitive rates on medical malpractice insurance was so positive that it was decided to bring the same personal, courteous service and top-rated advice to doctors throughout the country. CoverMD.com went live in early 2008 and quickly became the flagship website for our company. It was the first, and remains, the only truly independent online referral website for physicians looking for free no-obligation quotes on medical malpractice insurance.

CoverMD.com has put in place a select network of dedicated malpractice insurance professionals nationwide who represent medical malpractice insurance companies with highly competitive rates for the states they cover. The affordable rates combined with the experience and industry knowledge that these professionals bring to the table is key to why CoverMD.com has become so successful with doctors and other healthcare providers throughout the United States.

Len has over 30 years of insurance industry experience with a high degree of knowledge in the lines of property, casualty, life and health insurance. Prior to forming NJSave LLC with Joe Gilhawley in 2006, Len was the owner and CEO of the highly successful Mosco Insurance Agency in Ridgefield Park, New Jersey. Throughout his career, Len was the recipient of the National Sales Achievement Award and was also featured is Success Magazine's business edition. He also served on the board of the Liberty Mutual Producer Advisory Council.

As the Executive Marketing Director of CoverMD his responsibilities include market research, identifying and implementing new, potential opportunities as well as day to day public relations with insurance agencies, carriers and organizations.

Len resides in sunny Florida where he is engaged to his wonderful fiancee, Karen. They will be married in the Fall of 2010 and look forward to spending their life together with their three children.

Joe has over seventeen years experience in software application development. Prior to forming NJSave LLC with Len Mosco in 2006 Joe worked as a systems developer for a number of major Fortune 100 companies in the New York \ New Jersey metro area. He received his Bachelor of Science from University College Dublin, Ireland and holds a Masters in Computer Science from the New Jersey Institute of Technology. Joe is also a Microsoft Certified Solution Developer in .NET as well as a CompTIA Certified Technical Trainer.

As CoverMD's Chief Technology Officer his responsibilites include ensuring that CoverMD maintains its position as the premier online referral website for medical malpractice insurance as well as managing the day to day operations of a busy website.

Joe lives in Rutherford, New Jersey with his wife Carol and their three young children. Joe's "second job" involves ferrying his children to a seemingly never ending round of practices and games for soccer, baseball, swimming, dance and more.
